A dedicated adjuster confirms coverage against your specific agreement, reaches out to you within one business day to verify details, and authorizes the repair with a pre-approved service provider.
Step 03
Get Back on the Road
You schedule the repair with the provider. Covered work is paid directly to the shop. Most claims close inside a week — and there’s zero out-of-pocket cost for covered damage.
Before You File

Have handy
- Your 17-character VIN (inside driver door or lower windshield)
- Contract number (on your AVP agreement)
- Name of the selling dealership and purchase date
- A clear written description of the damage
- Date you first noticed the problem
Good to know
- File within 30 days of discovering the damage for fastest processing
- Don’t start repairs before the claim is authorized — unauthorized repairs may not be eligible for payment
- The dealership where you purchased your contract can file on your behalf
- Your contract is fully transferable if you sell privately — contact us to update the record
